Photos from Jim Zajac

The photos I promised over a week ago are finally getting posted. They arrived via email the day I left town. Sorry for the delay. Thanks to Jim Zajac for sending these pictures to me. Enjoy! I don’t know the size of the musky’s they caught. They were fishing with live suckers.

The beginning of fall colors. They have since peaked and are beginning to fall.

Jim was able to capture the double rainbow.

Fishing at sunset.

This was the sunset the same night as the rainbow.

The Eagle wants the bait!

We have four fisherman up here this week musky fishing using live suckers. The eagle has been watching them the whole time and has even tried going after their suckers. the eagle actually got a hold of one of the suckers while on the line. Ed has cuts in his hands where he tried grabbing the fishing line. The eagle gave up, but kept watching them closely. Ed got great pictures of the eagle watching them!

The bobbers the suckers were on.

Eagle watching from the shoreline.

Eagle watching from the tree.

Great close-up of the eagle! He does look determined doesn't he?

Ed with a 39 inch musky.

Mike with a 38 inch musky. This one was thick in the belly. They said it was around 12 pounds.

Fish stories told here!

A productive day for fishing.

Joel caught this nice musky on Irving Lake, the 3rd lake in our chain of 3 lakes.

Kevin is testament that you don't even have to get into a boat to catch a fish. He caught this northern pike standing on the dock.

The fish are biting!

It dawned on me today that I should be posting the photos of the fish that are caught at the resort. We put the pictures up on our bulletin board in the lodge, so I thought I would share them with you also! Here are the two that were caught yesterday both out of the lake and on film! 🙂

The day started with Brian catching this 171/2 inch bass.

And ended with Tom catching this 39 inch musky.
