2012 Newsletter Happy New Year from White Birch Village Resort As the busyness of the holiday season is behind us we hope you are looking forward to another vacationing season at White Birch Village Resort. We look forward to seeing many of you again this year. Did you know that 2012 is a very special year? It marks 30 years that White Birch Village has been in operation. It also marks 90 years that there has been a resort operating on this site. It all began in 1922 with the White Birch Resort Company. In the ninety year history as a resort, Carol and Dick are the longest owners to date. What a legacy they have created. It is thanks to their love, generosity, and vision that White Birch Village Resort is the During your years of vacationing here, has an important milestone occurred while on your vacation. We treasure the memories that are made each year and look forward to all the new ones that are yet to be made. Love Abounds Fishing Seminars Treasure Hunts  Adults and children alike had fun with our treasure hunts this past year. The younger kids had fun searching for all the bug clues while the older kids, teens and adults searched for the buried treasure on the pirate treasure hunt. The busiest treasure hunt occurred in August with 55 people participating.

Charlie continues to be a huge hit with the kids in the summer. They can’t wait to get out and find where he is hidden. It’s so much fun to see the excitement on their faces when they find Charlie and the pride when they find that great hiding spot. Winter Charlie grew his following this past year with over 50 people trying to guess what day he went through the ice. Will you be the winning person this year? Be sure to cast your vote for the 3rd annual “Ice Out” contest. Charlie will set up camp the end of February. Be sure to check the blog for all the information.
