A message from Bill and Sue
Hi Friends,
Winter is rolling along her in Boulder Junction and we can tell you that we are anxiously awaiting the return of all of you to White Birch Village. Last summer was our first experience of managing a resort and we thank Carol and Dick for the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of living in the north woods. We cannot tell you what a pleasant change it was from living in central Florida where the "slow life" meant traveling 80 mph in the right lane of I-4 through downtown Orlando.
It was indeed a pleasure to work for all of you while you were here enjoying yourselves. It was so much fun watching the children at the beach, listening to the young ones catching their first fish on the dock and screaming with ecstasy as they pulled the fish from the water. The Tuesday picnics were so much fun because we actually had time to sit and visit with you and really get to know you. It was fun showing you around Aqualand and showing the Barn. And, with the great weather we experienced last year we were able to visit with you long into the evening without the pesky mosquitoes.
The crews will be returning to WBV very soon to get things ready for your arrival. Sue and I will keep our eyes peeled on highway K anxiously awaiting your return.
Drive safely and see your soon.
Sue and Bill Grunwald
